entry 18: vending machine (may 23)

went outside for the first time in weeks. only to the corner vending machine. bought a canned coffee and some electrolyte water.

the sun accused me. i hurried back, sweating. when i set the cans down beside her, i felt like i had brought offerings to a shrine.

i bowed my head without thinking.
