When you are a doll
There is no time
There is no thought
There is me
A doll is a chamber of being
In the cellar
I am the space where I am
There is time
There is feeling
there is nothing to fear
Down the stairs
There is but a time
There is but a place
Welcome their
They too are your creation
This is your invitation into three solitary worlds, born by three separate sets of hands,
now a planet of its own. A doll is a chamber of being, we mimic the slow and tender
formation of limbs and joints with our own hands just like our little fetal bodies
intricately sculpted in the womb by hands unseen. The eyes that lay upon you here are
mine and theirs and yours too, if you’ll open them. Let them look at you, let them learn
from you what it is to be alive. There is nothing to fear, nothing lives inside a doll that
does not live inside of you. There is me in every form. A piece of me i attempt to become,
or attempt to understand. Do you feel the warmth of my breath when you lean in closer to
the figures around the room ? There is a but a time, there is but a place. We invite you to
embrace the sprites of our subconscious mind, they have all gathered here for you. They
are waiting for you, now, just down the cellar stairs..
