Fabian Bergmark Näsman (b. SE) is educated at Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and Konstfack
in Stockholm. Derived from the idea of recursion and hybridization, Fabian Bergmark Näsman has
developed a unique artistic process where he casts sculptures from one mold to create an original piece
each time through dissection and reconstruction.
Mary Furniss (b. UK) is currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. She received an MA in fine Art from
Kungl. Konsthögskolan, Stockholm in 2020 and is a recipient of Konstnärsnämndens one year working
Grant. She was a participant of the De Ateliers Residency program in Amsterdam, NL from 2015 to 2017
and has completed artist residencies in Finland, Sweden and Chile. Her work has been exhibited at
Coulisse Gallery, Stockholm, SE, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Santiago, CHL, Konstakademien,
Stockholm, SE, Liverpool Biennale, UK and The Institute of Contemporary Art, London, UK as part of
New Contemporaries. Furniss is the co- founder of Kruger, a collaborative curatorial project based in
Stockholm. Her first Graphic novel was published in 2021 by Persson Valijani, Umeå and released at
Kummelholmen, Stockholm.
Sara Gewalt (b. SE) and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Today she operates out of her studio in the rural
parts of northern Uppsala. She holds a BFA from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. In
Gewalt’s work we meet figures that appear to have been summoned out of the dark. Sara Gewalt’s
glazed ceramic sculptures balance on a duality where the pieces seem frightening while at the same
time welcoming, often as beautiful as they are unsettling. Her work stands in the borderlands between
fiction and reality, conveying a primal notion of something that is ultimately deeply human. Sara’s
influences often derive from nature and mysticism as well as from gothic horror and popular culture.
Previous exhibitions include Cornelia Sojdelius Gallery, Riche och Gävle Konstcentrum/Art Centre.
Roger Smeby (b. SE) is currently based in Stockholm and holds an MA from The Royal Institute of Art,
Sweden in 2020. He is a recipient of Konstnarnamden's artists working grant (Arbetsstipendium) and
Stockholm Stads Kulturstipendium. From 2020-2021 his work was exhibited at Slussen subway Station,
commissioned by Region Stockholm. He is a recipient of Den Tänkande Handen, Royal Drawing Prize
and his works have been exhibited in The United States, Finland and Sweden.
Malin Westin (b. SE ) is a mixed-media artist specialized in silicone and oil painting, based in Stockholm,
Sweden. She graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from Konstfack - University of Arts, Crafts
and Design in 2020. Westin uses her practice as a way to portray the consumerist world of merchandise,
souvenirs and body modification that she is consciously part of. She employs satirical strategies while
using references to pop culture.
Konrad Lidén (b. SE) is an artist working with soft sculpture and installation. His work engages with “everyday” objects as imagined through filters of generic tropes and cartoon fictions. Lidén has a bachelor in Textiles from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (Stockholm, 2021), a bachelor in Aesthetics from Södertörn University (Stockholm, 2013), and is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Lauren Johnson (b. US) is an independent curator based in Stockholm and Elk Glade Ranch. Lauren approaches curating as a way to practice cross-cultural understanding while living in harmony with nature and our existence. She received her Bachelor’s in Art History at UC Berkeley, graduated from the Master's Program in Curating, including Art, Management, and Law at Stockholm University and CuratorLab at Konstfack University in Stockholm.
